A blower (pronounced “bılovır”) is equipment that transfers air in a ventilated environment at high flow rates or low pressure. It rotates the fan using the force from a motor. Blowers can operate either as a blower (forcing air) or as a vacuum.

Common types

 

Multi blade type

The air flow is perpendicular to the axis of rotation, and the blades are typically angled forward in the direction of rotation. These types tend to be mid-range in terms of flow rate and pressure, and are used in applications such as duct ventilation, air conditioning, and cooling.

Turbo type

Structure

 

The blower is mainly composed of six parts: motor, air filter, blower body, air chamber, base, and drip nozzle. The blower operates eccentrically on the rotor offset in the cylinder, and changes the volume between the blades in the rotor slot to suck in, compress, and discharge air. During operation, the pressure difference of the blower is used to automatically send the lubrication to the drip nozzle and drip into the cylinder to reduce friction and noise, while keeping the gas in the cylinder from returning.
